The seminars will be held on on various days of the week at the Healthy Worksites office at 14 Ipswich Street, Fyshwick. Participants are able to attend as many sessions as they wish.  Bring a friend for $5.
Coach Yourself to Better Health

Dr Dion shares the basis of how BodyAge works and discusses practical ways to incorporate health and fitness into your daily life. There are many activities you can do to increase your cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and strength which doesn’t take up much time or impact on the budget. He will also discuss the mental health benefits of getting healthy. This session is a great way to begin reducing your BodyAge.

There is so much information on TV and in magazines that, for the layperson, can be quite confusing to what is fact and what is fiction.   The information in this seminar highlights the basics of nutrition and practical solutions in losing weight.

No matter if you are at work, home, or play, having proper posture is the key to increased productivity and reducing injury.  Workstations can be changed, better chairs can be bought, but no matter what you do, one of the best ways to reduce injury in the workplace is to have good posture.  Good posture is the foundation to productive form and function in life and work.  This seminar covers body awareness, aspects of good posture, and strengthening exercises to increase core stability which have an effect on good posture.
